Demon Zhang is a fashion designer graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, with a major in Fashion and Textile Design.
During her time in Europe, Demon gained extensive experience working with renowned luxury fashion houses, including Alexander McQueen and Christian Dior. At Dior, she collaborated with then-Creative Director John Galliano on the creation of showpieces. At Alexander McQueen, she specialized in illustration and print development, working closely with the brand’s founder and visionary, Alexander McQueen. Her contributions were pivotal in designing and rendering the brand’s iconic skull motif.
In September 2019, Demon co-founded the avant-garde fashion brand MITHRIDATE, serving as its Creative Director. In February 2020, MITHRIDATE debuted its 20SS collection, securing a spot on the official London Fashion Week digital schedule. By September 2024, the brand celebrated its 10th consecutive appearance at London Fashion Week.
In April 2021, Demon again co-founded the premium womenswear brand mithworld, serving as its Creative Director. The brand unveiling its first ready-to-wear collection at Shanghai Fashion Week the same month. By April 2024, mithworld presented its Autumn/Winter 2024 collection as the closing show of Shanghai Fashion Week.
In October 2024, Demon concluded her journey with MITHRIDATE to establish her eponymous brand, Demon Zhang, marking an exciting new chapter in her design career.
